About
Emily Radforth is a sustainable, independent brand based in Liverpool. Founded after graduating at Kingston University in 2021, I wanted to continue to explore the ideas and inspirations I had been drawn to during my fashion degree. I have always been a huge music lover and looked up to musicians for inspiration in my work, such as The Rolling Stones, The Cramps and The Black Lips to name a few.
Along with iconic musicians, I have always admired historical dress such as the Renaissance period and the detail, silhouettes and luxurious fabrics used throughout history. My collections are a culmination of many inspirations and I aim to create considered, made-to-order pieces that not only are sustainably made but go on to be looked after and worn for years to come.
Sustainability & Brand Values
The fashion industry is often known for being unsustainable and unethical in many areas but Emily Radforth as a brand is highly focused on being as sustainable as possible throughout all stages. All fabrics are either deadstock, second-hand remnants, or bought from small businesses in small quantities, in order to reduce waste and give fabrics a new life, which would otherwise go to landfill. Ribbons made from recycled plastic bottles are often used in my collections and all packaging is recycled and recyclable to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
As well as being sustainable, a priority of mine is to always ensure that everyone involved in my shoots or projects are paid above minimum wage and treated well. A collaborative and welcoming environment is something I prioritise and I am always open to working with new people. Feel free to contact me at emilyradforth@hotmail.com if you would like to work together or to discuss any ideas.
Commissions
I always love working on commissions and custom orders and bringing someone’s idea to life. If you see a piece on my website but would like it in a different colour or fabric, or simply have something in mind that you’d love to request, feel free to contact me on Instagram or email at emilyradforth@hotmail.com and we can talk through some ideas!
Returns & Exchanges
As each piece is made to order with accurate measurements, returns and exchanges are unfortunately not accepted so please do make sure to double check your measurements with the size guides provided.
Certain exceptions may be made if there is a manufacturing fault with the piece when you receive your order but any damage caused after purchase due to misuse cannot be refunded. In the case of a return being accepted, you will receive your refund, minus the cost of postage, as soon as I have received your piece back in its original condition. Customers are also responsible for covering their own postage for any returns.
Please contact me with your order number and reason why within 14 days if you have an issue with your piece and feel free to contact me first if you’re a bit unsure about any sizing or have any other questions before your purchase.

As each piece is very delicate, do not wash in the washing machine or tumble dry. Hand wash only with warm water and a non-bio detergent to soak any stains or marks. Try to limit the amount of times you wash them and be very careful around the mesh and embellished areas on the corsets.
