Gender Is A Drag

My graduate collection was based on the amazing book ‘Soldier Studies: Cross Dressing in Der Wehrmacht’ by Martin Dammann which is made up of a huge collection of photos of soldiers cross dressing during the war. While also being inspired by the incredible Gil Elvgren and his pin up art, I wanted to create a combination of the two and explore underwear and outerwear to produce a gender fluid line-up.
